Large, double-sided, indexed map with street plans of central Bucharest and Chisinau, dividing Romania east/west. Subtle hill-shading with additional spot heights depicts the topography, with names of numerous mountain and hill ranges marked on the map.

Gradients on steep roads, intermediate driving distances on most roads, and border crossings are indicated.

The map also shows the rail network, cable cars, ferry connections, and local airports. Boundaries of national parks, restricted military areas, and administrative regions are marked. Symbols denote various landmarks and sites of interest, e.g. spa resorts, marinas, campsites, selected hotels, mountain refuges, churches, etc.

A grid in steps of 30' indicates latitude and longitude. Map legend includes English. A booklet attached to the map cover contains an index with separate lists of place names for Romania and for Moldova, plus for the adjoining areas of the neighbouring countries, with, where appropriate, both local and transliterated verions as on the map itself. The booklet also contains street plans of central Bucharest and Chisinau.
